Family means the world to us. We grew up in a very close-knit family and to this day have made it a priority to spend time with and love our family as best we can. Our parents are absolutely wonderful. They support us, love us, sacrifice for us and encourage us to be the very best people and athletes we can be. We have two brothers who are keenly sarcastic and clever, always keeping us on our toes. They are never slow to offer a canny comment in conversation but they are also quick to bolster us up in support of all our endeavors. We couldn't be more thankful for the impact they've had in our lives for the better. As we've gotten older and matured, it's become increasingly evident that the love we share with our family is genuine and unique. Laughter is prevalent and smiles are many. We don't take each other too seriously because we all know how to dish the sarcasm. Our favorite game to play together is Catch Phrase because it brings out everyone's competitive nature. We love food and are always willing to try a new dessert. When we were still living in Atlanta, the four of us siblings and our families (Annika's husband, our older brother's wife, and their beautiful baby girl) set aside a night each month specifically for what we call "sibling dinner". It was time set aside to share a meal and kindle our love and support of one another. It reminded us that we have so many people in our corner rooting us on in life. Now that we live in California and frequent visits aren't as feasible, we plan regualr video calls and chats to keep up from afar. We truly feel like we've been blessed with the best when it comes to family!
